Such a beautiful song and such a heartrending video. One hopes that in the time intervening, things have improved in this impoverished nation where so many survive on the waste of another country. In the midst of this sad montage there are brief respites of beauty however they often only serve to embolden this video’s deep melancholy. The music itself is pure DCD and of course nothing less than enchanting.,

I was blessed to see them live in Seattle in 2008… such beautiful music and on my favorite label 4AD with Cocteau Twins, Lush, This Mortal Coil, Clan of Xymox, et al. <3
Unfortunately I have never seen them live. But I love “Kiko” and “Yulunga” and I use them to dance and get in trance. I know Cocteau Twins and This mortal coil too 😉😊
